oh man, my father was a watchmaker in the 80s, I grew up there helping him until I was 12 years old, I knew practically all these models, the most common defect was the corner of the bracelet pin breaking, they ended up as scrap. good memories!!!

I had the 2nd remote control watch you showed. I absolutely yearned fot it and when i got it in my teens i felt i was king of the world, as i loved anything gadgety! Although in lessons when they put a video on i use to mess around it and really confuse the poor teachers. Me and my bestie desperately trying not to laugh! I remember you activated the frequency search function and good do just about any brand!

I'd totally forgotten about the first flip watch here, I actually won it at an arcade in one of those classic 2p coin pusher games in the early to mid-90's - I believe it was at Skegness. I'd already been given a W-59 for my birthday and I preferred the digital display, so I never wore it.

It’s amazing. I used to have a casio with round face, with digital hour, minute and second hand. It also has a small room like rectangle shape to display date or digital hour. So far I have not found it yet.

I had my first digital watch around 1978/79 it was brilliant the function layout was similar to the f91w casio except it had 3 buttons on the right-side of the watch if you pressed the top and middle buttons together the alarm would activate.......forget to mention the battery never lasted longer than 4 months in mine as I was always setting the alarm 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤

The brand was called bestime, also if the buttons were pressed in a certain way the seconds would disappear and the date was shown instead next to the minutes the brand may have been bought from a catalogue company at that time ,I liked the lcd digital watches back in the late 70s it was something totally new by the early eighties they had calculaters built in ,I had a pen in 1982 with a digital clock on the end we always had the latest tech when I was boy,we had teletext TV in 70s and a commodore pet computer (it had 8700kb) which we played space invaders on not forgetting the Sony c7 betamax video recorder I think my father paid around £700 for the Sony teletext TV it was a right piece of kit back then ,the remote control made a high pitch sound when any key was pressed and it was as big as a house brick (width height length) but it was brilliant information been sent through a TV Ariel ......I like your channel by the way

SWEET!!! The one from 2:00 till 2:23 is the W-520U, which I still use as of today. Those are tanks! they are electronically virtually indestructible, but scratches easily. The one I have still runs perfectly. There was also a W-50U which has an inferior case, and an A300U which has a Metal-look casing. All have the same module inside.

Nice collection 👌 i have many watches seiko , jaguar , festina cerutti, etc....but recently I started looking at casio again, i have only one original vintage left and that's the DBW320 i bought in 1987 all the rest got lost somehow, i recently bought the DBC611E-1EF databank and i ordered the A 1100 silver color which will be delivered today so I'm quite excited 😁 , i started looking at vintage models but can't really find any at reasonable prices and in really good condition , this being said can you recommend any sites were to look for original vintage casio's please

In the past, when I was going to primary school, in the 1990s, there was a Casio watch with a calculator. We would look through the window and dream, wondering if it would be mine one day. It's all back to normal. What I remember from the past is the 90s. in the watch shop
