I was wondering about that as well. Thank you for showing this.

Your handwriting a dream. I'd guess that you have had some business penmanship training in the past. Your lines are crisp and stead, your slants are consistent, and all your script is confident. Could you please share a link to where I can purchase this Clairfonteine paper?

Thank you soo much! Thanks for watching. The paper I buy from this link whenever I run out of my 20 pack [4000 pages ] :) www.renaud-bray.com/Papeterie_Produit.aspx?id=1772294&def=Feuilles+mobiles+copies+doubles+perfor%C3%A9es+s%C3%A9y%C3%A8s+21x27.9cm+200p%2C44711

Thanks for the review. Excellent as always. I just wish I’d waited for this review before I bought it! I already had the #15 Pilot nib in B and BB in my existing 823’s and 743’s. I also had the clear demonstrator in my collection as well and I completely agree with you. The signature nib does not bring enough difference to the table to justify buying a signature nib if you already have a B or BB in your collection. The pen is the usual high quality Pilot offering just not different enough to justify buying in my case.

Do you think the Urushi customer heritage nib is better than the m1000? The m1000 is significantly cheaper.
@jamesfahey71886 ай бұрын
The fine is great. I don’t use my fine anywhere near as much as my medium. I should because it has a lot more control. But, yes, much better to buy from the Japanese market in yen.

The Custom 845 nib is more suitable and sturdier. But not necessarily better writer. M1k nib is so easy to put out of alignment. 845 is not worth note than m1k. I'd but m1k over 845. Custom urushi [the big one] is a totally different story. :)

Yes I would like the Urushi. The 845 looks cool but I’d always be dreaming of the Urushi. Is there much different between the feel of the 845 nib and the 823?

@@jamesfahey7188 TO my biased hands yet. It is such an amazing pen. However, the price hike is unwarranted. This is not a 500-600 usd pen. 400 was a sweet spot for this pen.

Great video and amazing collection! I agree with you regarding the cap liner on the 823. I wish they either made a step in the cap and got rid of the liner (especially on the clear version) or made the entire cap opaque.

Good tip for removing Pilot cap liner. Thank you. I have some Pilot stubs that I had smoothed out by Matthew Chen. I really like the result, which is (as I watch your video), a little bit crisper than the signature nib. Thank you for the video. I think my favorite Pilot nib is the WA nib, with the FA a close second.

Great video as always.🙏Answers exactly all the questions I had. Did you replace the washers on the Asvines?😂 Assuming you created a color coordinated system to identify what nibs you have in which. Genius.

Can you buy Pilot or Platinum or Sailor nibs by themselves or did you remove them from other pens?

Can't but separate nibs unfortunately. I used pilot and platinum pens as donors.

@@Shak-MD Yeah. Not sure if it's on the #15 nib, but I know it's on the #10. But even the #10 has a BB, so I think the coarse with Pilot might be different than Platinum because I don't think Platinum has a BB.
