Interesting. I mean, if they are going to do a full-on tribute to Shining Time Station, it would make more sense to bring back the Thomas and Friends stage shows and feature Ringo Starr lookalikes or George Carlin lookalike actors playing as Mr. Conductor

The play stars my close friend Eric Smith as Mr. Conductor. Eric has been a well respected beatles tribute artist for decades. For the last 20 years he's been the Ringo for "Beatlemania Now" which is one of the top 5 greatest beatles tribute bands in the world! Victor Talk Machine employs Eric's brother Graham Alexander (also a former Paul in Beatlemania Now and Rain A Tribute To The Beatles) who is executive producer of the show. Their father is Fran Smith Jr. of the 80s band The Hooters. A lot of careful planning and hard work has gone into bringing this production to life. Just like you I'm a huge Shining Time Station fan as well as a Beatles enthusiast and even played Ringo in 2 tribute bands myself from 2007 to 2012. I do suggest however that before you go jumping to conclusions about this play that you research it extensively and read all the details on it before you go making it out to be something less than it really is.
