Very interesting I love the idea. While watching I was wondering if enough of these treadmills could be hooked up together to generate enough power to mine Bitcoin. Just imagine a gym where everyone contributes.

I actually used this treadmill today. I barely lasted the 15 mins I did. Definitely a great workout but I had a problem getting it going as I ran. I had to hold onto the bar and run which is NOT convenient for a runner. I will check the settings when I do it again. Overall great for training but the incline is tough. After 15 mins on this treadmill I got off and did a regular treadmill for another 25 mins and it felt like a breeze. There is definitely a difference.

Right, that permanent incline will get you after a few minutes.

Does the treadmill needs to be plugged into electricity at all times.

Really nice idea...but 1. Too expensive 2. Minimal regeneration unless you run a marathon a day 3. Surface looks too firm 4. Fixed incline make no sense for most runners ( see our recent video on this). But thanks for the feature.

Yes, the fixed incline is going to turn away serious runners. The price need to come down a bit if they want to enter the mainstream market. Currently they are available in some colleges and gyms. Hopefully they can bring this into other treadmills as well.

Nice concept! But $9000 with no bells and whistles? I'd rather get a $2000 treadmill for inside days and use the $0 outdoors option for the $9000 experience.

Definitely. The price is more in line with commercial brands and hopefully, SportsArt or even others can do something similar at a more affordable price.
