Thanks for the detailed video - I'm the photographer for Laskey and wanted to see how the product is doing out there! =)

I didn’t know Scott Laskey had passed. I have a Laskey, bought over 5 years ago. Works for me, but should I consider a new version? Haven’t watched the whole video yet (2 year old video now).

Schilke or Laskey? Both mouthpieces are similar yet so different. I don't know which to choose.

You need to take a private lesson. Someone in person. That's the best way to learn. I've been playing horn for 23 years now, 15 professionally, and I'll tell you that private lessons got me where I'm at.

What horn are you playing on this video?

Derek, what does the “G” in the Laskey mouthpiece number mean?
@HoughtonHorns3 жыл бұрын
It's just a model designation for the cup size/shape with no further meaning.

@@HoughtonHorns I had wondered if it indicated that the mouthpiece was optimized for a Geyer-style (medium or medium-large bell throat) instrument. Thanks for clearing that up.
