how do I know if I have bluetooth kit under my RCD 310 on my passat b6 or not? and how I can solve and use bluetooth if I do not have it ? pls help

For anyone else wondering since his comments 5 years old he probably doesn’t have the car, but IF YOUR VW HAS BLUETOOTH ABILITY THERE IS A BOX UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT IF NO BOX NO BLUETTOTH, THE BOX IS VERY OBVIOUS ! If nothing under the seat, no Bluetooth feature!

My 2012 jetta SE doesnt give the option of Aux when I press the menu, then set up. So how am I suplose to use my aux??? I have an area to plug an aux cord in, that says: aux in, but that's it.

I heard it might be in the glove box (aux)..

The glove box? My auxiliary port is under my radio though, opposite of my lighter. It looks just like the o e in the video, only issue I'm having is that its not listed anywhere with the other media options. Its odd.

Kinda lame that this is the base model in the GTI now. I had the RCD510 in my 2010 model, but the car got totalled. I'm going to end up getting the nav package to get all the extras and LED lights. I guess thats why they changed it, I might just get the base if the stock stereo was similar. Now I figured I might as well upgrade to the higher package if I am adding stuff anyway.

Hi, I have a VW Eos 2012, upon resetting my mobile phone, l cannot re-connect it via bluetooth to my vehicle. I have tried disconnecting the box adapter under the seat without success, please advise? TomT.

I have a 2011 mark 6 High line golf , have a RCD-310 radio in it , the thing is I can turn the Bluetooth on the radio but it wont pick mine or my partners phone up , also cant get Bluetooth to show up on dash , I rang vw and they said it should have it cause its a high line model plz can you help me P.S would it be a fuse ? Seen a video on KZbin where the bloke reached under the passenger seat where there was a box with cables in it he disconnect the Bluetooth cable then plugged the Bluetooth back in and clamped it tight , then his Bluetooth came up on dashboard and and he was able to connect to it , I dont have any box under my passenger seat . Hope you can solve this problem for me Cheers John .

It might be that your car doesn't have Bluetooth, same as mine. But you can buy a Bluetooth transmitter for aux from Amazon for 20€

I have the RCD310 in my b7 Passat. Like this video, I keep seeing photos where the screen is inverted, so black with white text. Mine however is blue backlit with black text. Can it be changed? Was there two variables? Im in Uk, but I have still seen some here with the black backlit screen... Any ideas?
