A Look Back At MLP the Equestria Girls specials, Greatness is Earned

Enjoy some Equestria Girls appreciation and like the video. There are major spoilers for the first 3 specials, Forgotten Friendship, Roller Coaster of Friendship, and Sunsets Back Stage Pass. Sunset's are VANISHED from her mind I think wallflower blush is almost a villain but I can see your point

I think Forgotten Friendship is the most interesting of these. I like how Wallflower literally turned herself into an SCP. There is no Antimemetics Division, indeed. I think the reason why Wallflower decided to pick on Sunset was that Sunset got so many friends after all the awful things she did, while Wallflower, who "didn't do anything", was ignored by everyone, and she thought that was unfair. It's part of the point the special was making. Trixie Lulamoon: But maybe it's not good enough to not be mean to someone. Maybe you have to be nice. Also, the cutoff verses from her song kind of suggest that she was planning to "check out" soon. A bit heavy for a kids show.

For me, I wonder if she's haunted by the fact that most of her school life is forever gone from everyone minds. You could be right she might be jealous of Sunset for the fact she has friends and is well, liked after everything she's done.

Wallflower Blush removed the "bad encounters" she had with all of the students at C.H.S. [that was the vague instruction/wish commanded to the Memoey Stone]. -> It just happen to be ALL of her ackward interactions over the years. She did try to "meet" pepple again, but it did not worked. -> The fact that she "is a student of C.H.S. from long ago" is still in their subconcious, so they do not acknowledge her as a "new student" (but instead someone they knew but was so unremarkable they just "forgot" her name); so they avoid her to not waste their time. In the full, non-censored version of the song (not released oficially, but LEAKED/stolen from D.H.X.'s NAS Server in 2019 by an anonymous russian hacker); she is planning on un-aliving herself [sung after her attempts to make Sunset's life as misserable as her failed with Trixie's new friendship].

["Sunset's Backstage Pass"]: The book the special is based of (unlike other EQG specials made "directly for tv") is called "The Starswirl's Music Festival". . Sunset was affected by the timeloop effect because she (plus a few birds & squirrels) were inside the "Time Twirler" area of effect the first time it was activated. -> It was just pure luck she was resting on that hill, close enough to the forest's waterstream where & when the device was found. . It is supposed to loop the same day (automatically, at sunrise) until it is deactivated on purpose. It can also loop back sooner if clicked again, something Supernova (Su-Zi) did sometimes at different moments (trying to get "the perfect performance"). -> Unlike Wallflower Blush, the girls did not had a "User Manual" for the device (it fell from a random "rift" portal, falling on the waterstream higher on the mountains & ending on a random spot); it was "there" (lost) fir many months. . The area of the Festival is in the middle of a National Park (nobody lives there, the infrastructure for it is portable/temporary); explaining Sunset's difficulty trying to "escape" [physically, in space] from the timeloop. -> She may had be able to do so if she reached the CHS portal & "hides" in Equestria for 1 day. All the "bad luck" is just a way to force her to find the real reason (the book explores some other "bad endings").

While the book never says who sent the Time Twirler to the EQG world or why; there are some theories. In the FIM Season 8 finale, Cozy Glow built a "Seal of Arcane Magic Drain" that finalized its process by opening a rift (pushing ponies, artifacts & condensed magic into it). . Since it required 6 artifacts to be controled/guided; there is a theory suggesting that Cozy experimented before using other artifacts (likely failing, having an accident sending the Time Twirler through). . If Cozy had access to it before (by being Twilight's right hoof helper at the school); she could have used it to loop any day (over & over, never aging or getting sick), to study all books of magic available [plus some private she could steal], in order to understand the advanced teachings of Tirek via mail. -> This would explain her aparent "corruption" over the span of time from her first met with the CMC (that she genuinely wanted to help) & her disdain for their safety (on the S8 finale); since it could be years/decades for her mind [she was always smart, but "matured" mentally in "one day", even if her body did not].

I away assumed that Stars whirled the bearded or Clover the Clever put it in the Equestria girl's world. But you're right they never confirm how or who put it there.

[Vignette Valencia]: She is related to Fluttershy (their moms are cousins), with the yellow skin & pink hair inherited from their shared great grandmother. Fluttershy & Vignette bonded on their shared interests on manga/anime (more specifically: cosplaying characters). -> She later convinced Flutters to try different "variations" of her ideas for a more "rocker" look (following a similar story than pony!Fluttershy back in season 1 of FiM involving Rarity & Photo Finish, acting as a model). The human Fluttershy actually liked modeling (as long as her photos remained "private"). -> We can see one of this cosplays in one of the shorts.

In Forgotten Friendship the finale battle would have take place at the beach not CHS because it already took place during first film and Friendship Games plus when Sunset returned to the beach she is supposed to change back into her bikini after her visit to Equestria.

The high school is the background of the final battle. They are in between the parking lot and a wooded area by the school. I think you're right about she want to pony world, tho.

[Megan Williams]: This is not the same one from G1 MLP, but the "counterpart" of a parallel universe. -> Because of the different art style, it is a bit difficult to notice that G1!Megan met Firefly (in "Rescue at Midnight Castle") 1 week after her 11th birthday (her filly horse "T.J." was a gift from her grandmother). -> In later episodes (and the original "MLP THE MOVIE"), Megan is 13 or 14 years old.

[SOUND]: Your microphone is recording your voice in stereo (2.0); but doing a terrible job. (Please): Edit your audio using a software that lets you mix both channels (left & right), down to "monophonic" (sounding the same in both ears). I do not have the option of watching youtube videos without headphones (mi Roku device sents video to an HD tv screen & the audio "as is" to a bluetooth transmitter). -> I can understand you, but it feels uncomfortable.

I don't have a separate microphone, just the built-in one from my phone. I am sorry I am looking into getting an external microphone, but all the ones in my price range sound worse than my phone. Are there free phone apps I could use to edit my audio to fix it?

I don’t think vignette deserves a second chance she nearly destroyed rarity and applejacks friendship and nearly killed entire city and forced the rainbooms to be what she wanted them to be instead of what they really are and she never apologised.

I am worried about what she's doing in the Equestria Girls world, too. I think she is the most dangerous of the villains.
