Amazing video! I see that you used the Wikipedia spanish page for Gauchito I actually changed it months ago to add the info of the contest and boycott (I also added images of the contest and from the boycott but Wikipedia removed them RIP XD) I did it cuz the info said there previously was wrong it said that his design was stolen or something haha. I just realized that the entire decade featured humans as the mascots! Damn! I think there is a hidden charm to Juanito not having as much media attention or merchandising. Makes me think that he's probably timid and just wants to host and play the sport he loves. Tip & Tap may have brought Germany even more close together through sport. They rock! Gauchito is what happens when FIFA World Cup finally sees the full potential of the impact mascots have on the event. Whether folks enjoy the game or otherwise, people can still enjoy the mascots outside of the sport.
