It's an interesting ranking of the classic series in my opinion since my ranking is different than yours with Season 5 being the best as always along with the others with a few decent episodes The rating system is pretty good using the Colour Code to scale them I did find other rating systems to be very good alongside yours

Seasons 6 and 7 are not Classic anymore? I thought the Classic era is seasons 1-7?

It depends who you ask. There's a definite shift within seasons 5 and 6, the main change being Allcroft was no longer in charge. The HiT buyout also happened during the production of series 6, but seasons 6 and 7 were still made by Mitton, Mike a Junior, etc So there's a lot that makes them classic, and a lot that puts them in their own era

@@thethreerailwayengines825 Does this mean you no longer refer to 6 and 7 as “Classic” nor part of 1-5? I fail to see the differences because they’re so small. Except for the writing and inconsistencies.

@@thecaledoniansleeper2648 It depends which day you ask me, to be honest. Usually what I say it 1-7 is the "Classic" Era, but that's then split up into two smaller eras (1-5 the "Allcroft" Era, 6-7 the "Gullane" Era)

@@thethreerailwayengines825 Okay, I see now. When you get to the Gullane era video, make sure you also call it the Classic era part 2. The Allcroft era would be served as the Classic era part 1. Although Seasons 1-2 can be also called the Clearwater era
