I didn't say or imply they did that all season. They did it for 2.5 quarters in the biggest game of the season before adjusting. I defended Mike T until about week 7 this year, so it's not a personal vendetta. I've just seen guys I've coached with at the college level become un-hirable for less egregious mistakes in big games. You're right though, I've utterly beat it into the ground. My apologies.

Heres the perfect plan; 1) Fire Myers, sign a proven great O-line coach 2) Trade Pickens for Metcalf 3) Resign Fields, Roberts, Warren, Skoronek, & McCollum 4) get free-agent wr Slayton and a corner, DJ Reed, Ward or Murphy. 5) Draft a big strong NT, OG, RB and slot corner In that order

Maybe you and others should start off by coaching pop-Warner/ little league football with 8 yr olds and see how successful you are before you should even begin to start thinking you know it all about Tomlins coaching and that’s without even being at a Steelers practice on top of it all!
