We have the best Italian director for live music assigned to the job, Duccio Forzano. It will be a wonderful show. And he used Cue Pilot in 2 Sanremo Festivals. And he likes to do Instagram Lives on his account when directing even complex shows. Hope EBU will allow him to do that. No backup camera?

Its impossible to have backup camera's they have 24 cams and can't have backup for all

@@KijkNiet They don't need 24 backup cameras. They could have 2 or smth and deliver them so that the latter half of the show wouldn't be affected

The problem with that is that they can't verify while they're live that the new camera doesn't have problems

If´s it a special system like an remotly controlled camera on tracks, you don´t have an backup. Even it the camera itself works, it´s the movement-system that needs to be replaced. And often it´s not easy to do so in such an complex environment like the ESC. I once was on a production where we also had an camera on tracks and the motor of the dolly where the camera rides on failed. It took about four hours to get an replacement and have it replaced. - Killer for an live show.
