Yes, that’s the long Koken. I have the long & short 3/8”. They are a KTC product too. I have some of their socket sets as well. Really superior tools.

I use koken as my daily drivers and snap on for heavy torque. The only reason is because snappy rebuild kits are everywhere, and I can get one quickly. The koken rebuild takes at least a week.

10:25... easy to service..sealed or not, if people would service their tools frequently then they will stay smooth a long time

I prefer detents on my flex head ratchets as they don't get floppy over time like the Snap on. The Nepros flex joint appears to give you the smoothness of the Snap on without the risk of getting floppy.

When the screws holding the plate on come in through the back to the front, there's a lot less threads holding the plate on. Going from the front to the back, you get 2/3 screw thread engagement while other way less than 1/4 of the threads engage. Making more stress on the end of the screws.

good luck tightening the two nepros screws back on as they strip very easily-unless you barely tighten them. 😊 and this is even if you use the proper JIS driver. ko-ken, on the other hand, smartly uses a single torx-plus screw 👍

When the screws go through the back of the ratchet and into the plate, you can just replace the plate if the threads become damaged. When the screws go through the front and thread into the body, you have a bigger problem if the threads get cross threaded or stripped as you've damaged the actual ratchet body.
