A Look Inside the Deseret Peak Utah Temple

Public tours begin this week for the Deseret Peak Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The public open house will run from Thursday, September 26, through Saturday, October 19, 2024, excluding Sundays and Saturday, October 5, for general conference. 
The Deseret Peak Utah Temple will be the 200th operating house of the Lord.

The temple builder for every 5 temples is in our ward. Such a humble unassuming man, but when he gets up to bear his testimony or speak...you can hear a pin drop. The spirit is palpable. I could sit and listen to his experiences for days.

I’ve seen the progress of this temple being built over the past few years just minutes away from home. What a blessing it will be to assist in its open house starting later this week, and then worship Christ the Lord in after it’s dedicated.

The Deseret Peak Utah Temple in Tooele, Utah, will be the 200th temple in the history of the Church to be officially dedicated. I hope that it will be President Russell M. Nelson who dedicates this temple and he gets to be accompanied by his counselors, President Dallin H. Oaks and President Henry B. Eyring.

That's Really Interesting as from what I've Understand it the Temple any Temple is way too Sacred way too Forbidding way too Big of a No, No to show to anyone that's Not a Church Member? In fact I could even remember needing to Acquire a Special Pass just to go to my Local Church just to watch the Grand opening or was that a Preview of the Calgary Temple?

Once the temple is dedicated, entrance is reserved for members of the Church. However, before the temple is dedicated, a free public open house is held where visitors of all ages are invited to attend.
