I love how he has a 2022 cy young award winner banner up. Looks like that’s his motivation going into the next season. Manifesting what he wants to come true 💪

Appreciate the Videos and please keep them coming. Cannot wait to see you back on the field. I am 40 years old and training to get my velocity up off the mound (trying to break 80mph consistently). Never too old to get better. Your training/mechanics tips are very helpful. You are bringing fun back to baseball!

Hey Trevor, is it just me or does it seem harder to hit spots when throwing at a target as opposed to a catcher holding a mitt? I feel like I throw a little harder/better with a catcher. Could it just be all in my head?
@professoralsty2 жыл бұрын
I think it’s cause your brain automatically knows that since your throwing at a target you try harder to hit it, which In comparison to a catcher you feel more confident cause he will catch everything.
@StrideX212 жыл бұрын
@@professoralsty yeah I figured I jjst wanna see what trev says if he answers me. I think I change my throwing mechanics as opposed to throwing to a catcher and it makes me feel less accurate.
@professoralsty2 жыл бұрын
@@StrideX21 yeah I think it’s natural for everyone to change their mechanics because they are trying to just hit the target while not focusing on break, velo etc,
@hudsonhouse22892 жыл бұрын
I’m the exact same way. Although it could also be that the catcher moves to the ball so we see the ball go in the glove every time opposed to a still target where we can more easily miss.

Hey trevor, do you know J.R Bradley? Also, any tips to improve velocity?
@wheelinthesky3002 жыл бұрын
Do I think Trevor's exercise regimen has a positive effect on his pitching? His general conditioning is something I recommend to anyone, especially athletes. His pitcher-specific routines are a mix of innovative ideas which probably strengthen his arm and maximize velocity, while some of it is pure voodoo and either has no effect or is potentially harmful.

How can I work on not over striding?
@tylereastham43592 жыл бұрын
Over striding isn’t usually a bad thing. It does make you miss high, but as long as your body gets used to the movement, it shouldn’t be a problem. My stride is the longest in my program and i am only 5’10. There are guys that are 6’0+ who have smaller strides than me. But when I started to stride farther, I got used to it and gained 3-4 mph in the process. Just as long as you can do everything correctly, over striding isn’t a bad thing as long as you’re used to it.
