Like Warren Buffet said, dividends are only good if the business you're investing into can't make good use of that capital. So, if you're trying to invest in businesses with actual growth, looking at dividends is a waste of time. Why are you investing into a company if they're returning capital to you because they think you can make better use if it than they can. It's not much different from bond investing. The way I see it, if you have a $1 million at some point, that'd be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50k - 70k in dividend income.

Love the way the video started, sounds like a fun way to enter 2022! At the end of the day, the reason why Buffett's approach is a win every.single.time... is because he buys to hold. This means ditching the get rich quick mindset and becoming a business owner.. Since I began investing and then really fired it up a notch in 2020 to now, it is Buffett's strategy of investing in high quality stocks with a long-term timeline that has never failed.. Good luck to all as 2022 is calling for fundamentals to come back into the picture for investors...

In the video we're missing about $300 billion. With the totals in the video I come up with about $455 billion. Market valuation of Berkshire, is about $725 billion. That leaves us with a shortfall of about 300 billion, otherwise Berkshire stock would be overvalued by $300 billion which it isn't, and Morningstar still comes pretty close to the 725 billion valuation. So we must be missing cash or we're not valuing some of the companies he owns out right. Or we're not applying the valuation for other stocks that are owned but not reported. I suspect that approximately 200 of it is insurance float that is not being counted, and another hundred that's not being counted in either miscellaneous stocks or undervaluation of wholly owned companies.

In fact, Buffet does not care about dividends at all. He would rather the company reinvest that money to grow larger. The only reason companies pay a dividend is because they cannot better use that money to generate revenue therefor they pay the shareholders. Start to get nervous when he starts selling his stocks
@svenkat20062 жыл бұрын
All over you say he owns. Do he owns or berkshire investors own. I own few shares of Berkshire. Is Buffet the owner of that 300 billion dollars alone or does part of that belongs to shareholders. Warren Buffet himself told never invest in funds like Berkshire. Invest in stocks and hold them forever. I did that when Nokia was great at 20 dollars per share and after 17 years I sold that at 4 dollars, with the sale money I bought Berkshire which was at 167 in 2017 and it is now at 310. Less than 100 percent growth in 5 years with just 17% per year growth in the best years of stock market. No future once markets start crashing. This mean history is not going to be repeated for Berkshire. He is holding cash because he is waiting for markets to crash so that he can buy cheap shares that is going on now but only those stocks that just went up due to hype than facts. Still no luck for Buffet.

Buffet portfolio aren't for new investors. New investors go for growth stock. Buffet can wait for 3 yrs to double, cause his figures is huge in billion dollars. But if u put out a 100k, thats not wat u want.

Don’t exaggerate, there was nothing especially terrible about 2022. We should all be saddened that we are a year closer to our deaths
Really interesting. One would assume due to Buffet's age he would simply YOLO most of his net worth into something really arbitrary in hopes of Gamestop, AMC or Dogecoin like returns. Well that's what I would do if I was him, that as well as coke.

It's coming back up.2022 , history. < but comparing Btc to 2013, 2017 it's like comparing the 1800's to 2000's. It kinda sounds good but it's apple's to orange's. I have been holding since 2018 and I am hoping just like everyone else that it will assess before 2022, but some believe while others don't! Too many instuititations waiting for new budget allocations. Suppress the market for the real money to come in, ergo the lengthening of the cycle!!! I wish I had bought more. I am in profit for now but I am planning on using my experience to do exactly what you have said in this post. I have learned from you and other especially From Rawlings Smith who taught me how to make trade and increase my crypto from 6 to 15btc that no one really knows what is going to happen and I know you are only saying what you think will happen based on the past. It is yours and my opinion so people should make their own investment choices based on their own research…

Trading went smooth for me as I was able to raise over 9 BTC when I started at 2.5 BTC in just 5 weeks of implementing trades with signals and insights from Rawlings Smith. I would advise you all to trade your asset rather than hold for a future you aren’t sure about
