It's pretty obvious but worth noting that "eventide" is pronounced like "even" and is an archaic/poetic term for evening - in other words, "the light is fading/the darkness is coming". Anyway, great stuff as always - glad I found your channel.

15:29 You made a slight mistake here, only full-power (not full-service) analog stations were completely phased out in 2009. Low-power stations, which you determined this was, actually weren't completely done away in the US with until 2021 (except in Alaska, which won't be cut off until 2022).

How much does it really matter whether or not your government is okay with you taking that life? I don't need to see a mushroom cloud to wonder what God thinks when he sees that man has created something with the sole purpose of killing something he created in his likeness. The authorities say Scott Peterson committed a double homicide when he killed his pregnant wife, yet no one is walking out of abortion clinics in handcuffs. Sure. The authorities may be alright with what you have done, but that doesn't mean you're in the clear. It doesn't change the fact that you have decided to unleash an irreversible beast on an innocent life. Even if you can live with what you did, inevitably, you are going to have to answer to God

@@Darxide23 Eventide made an episode, which used a rather daring plotpoint as the in universe coverup, i.e. a school shooting or a massacre i believe. Unfortunately for him, within a short timespan such a tragedy did end up occuring, and feeling that it was in bad taste, he deleted everything. That being said, Eventide was dropped once before, since the creator did not want to continue, so it is safe to say they were just going for a crowd pleaser in the first place, and ended up leaving for good. They also deleted all content on their other projects.

I think the giant skeleton in the "controlled" burn and the giant under the outskirts of the city are probably somehow connected, though I'm not completely sure how. Maybe the remains of the burnt giant were buried and then it was discovered that it was regenerating itself somehow? Or two individuals of the same "species?"

I also think the plants and the holes are connected, looking at the "creature" that emerged I felt it looked more plant like, along with the "seedling" distinction, also could be tied in with the giants. Perhaps they used the bio lab to recreate the giant. I'd have to look over the dates again. Did they use plant biology and nuclear power to recreate a giant in order to protect them from the demons of the ocean?

Small correction: Something-graphy is not the study of something, it's literally translated "drawing" or "writing". Geography is drawing the earth (maps), calligraphy is beautiful writing, a biography is writing down a life, etc.

This video is disrupted by so many ads I couldn't functionally get through it. The placement interrupts you mid-sentence often enough that it became draining to keep up with. I understand needing to be paid, that's completely fair, but if you let KZbin decide where and when your ad placement is, it will always do this. For someone like myself with an auditory processing problem, this is untenable. I am already struggling to understand what's happening and focus, the sound being interrupted is too much. Please adjust the ad placement in the first half. Thank you.
