29:36 Pillow case! I’ve been using a silk pillow case for the last couple of years and it has done wonders for my hair.

A silk pillowcase sounds absolutely dreamy. I vote that you make that because you'll get to enjoy it every night!

It’s nice to see you again in a personal video as I followed you from the beginning ,when you had the black cat curtains, later used in your shop. I also save fabrics as too special to cut into. Other people say it’s just fabric, do it. I tend to agree as just keep bypassing it and getting more fabric. The Eve dress is one I thought of but think my original comment disappeared. Silk pillow cases would be so useful and you’d see it every night. Robes are also good as you wear them so much.

Hi, the raindrops fabric is so pretty. Pink fabric perhaps a camisole. Your special friend who passed away material I think should be a summer top so it sees the sunshine.

Oh yes, I loved this vlog, Sheona! It's always interesting to see people's fabric stashes, and you have some absolutely stunning pieces 😍🤩❤ I think that pink silk should be worn, not slept on - it would look gorgeous made into a top of some kind. Happy sewing!

Sheona, I started watching you years ago - I think when you were working in Guildford and then you started sewing classes in Frimley/Ash/Lightwater - I can’t remember where exactly. I am a fellow Liberty fiend and keep old Liberty makes to remake. I made the same pink sweatshirt - the print is Dulwich Park. I’d suggest pillows out of the silk - you’ll use them more! I have sewn a couple of my Liberty silks into widish leg trousers - I had to just do it or else they become too precious and it also means I wear them more often Occasion dresses just don’t get worn enough in my life. Beautiful fabrics and lovely memories especially of your Nan.

Those are some beautiful fabrics, I know that everyone has those precious to them fabrics. I think that after you cut into any precious pieces that you should save a decent size scrap and frame it to hang in your sewing room or at the shop. That way you have the best of both worlds. I know that I am also guilty of cherishing certain fabrics and really should make something with them, and really enjoy wearing them. Thanks so much for taking us down your memory lane.🥰

So happy to see you back and completely enjoyed your fabric stash vlog. It made me realise that I’m not the only one that has these beautiful lengths of fabric that even though I may never sew, the ownership is such a comforting memory and companion.

I recognise a few! The hydrangea Tencel I’ve cut out for a patina Blouse (yet to sew!) the designer medium weight knit / Ponte - I’ve still got to decide on what to make. The art gallery cotton jersey - I’ve made a Moneta dress out of! The kokka double Guaze in black, I destashed as o couldn’t see myself using but I bought that from another destash! Love your stash, lots of blues and greens xx

Sandra’s fabric would also make a lovely Eve dress by soi. I find it takes 2.3 metres for the long version. 🧐😊

Such lovely fabrics in your stash! I've been so sad missing out the ?fuscia leopard-y viscose, it is still in my dreams, every now and then somebody sews up a kit or a length of it they have and rekindles my love for it. Can't wait to see you sew it up. .

That Oscar de la Renta red lace brocade is to die for. But why make something you will only wear a couple of times? I have become an advocate for using those special fabrics for clothing we will wear all the time. Wouldn't it be stunning as the front and back panels on a jacket!

Oooolucky you to have lots of silk laying around 😂 . I’d make pillow cases if I were u - I love my silk pillowcase - I don’t think it does anything for my hair or skin, but it’s always cool which is nice when you’re my age 🤪
