Actually, a lot of them are the most unhappy families you’ll ever know. We don’t know what goes on behind the camera. I’ll refer you to Ruby Franke, and her social media channel she had about her family. She was abusing her kids on AND off camera! She is now in jail, awaiting trial. One of her sons who is 12, escaped where they were staying, and ran to a neighbors house and asked them to call 911. He had marks on his wrists and ankles showing that his hands and feet had been bound or shackled. The neighbor said he looked emaciated. Ruby withheld food as punishment. Her 6 year old daughter forgot to pack her own lunch, and when her teacher called Ruby, she told her that she wasn’t bringing it to her, and to not give her anything to eat from the cafeteria. She actually told this story on camera to her viewers. She said she hopes they didn’t give her daughter anything to eat. She said she needed to go hungry so she would learn a lesson and not forget her lunch anymore. The little girl was 6 YEARS OLD! What 6 year old should have to remember to make their own lunch? These families are not all perfect, don’t assume they are.
