Great video! Before you even said it I was thinking that Finland has a Big Four; and that definitely has to include Satanic Warmaster. My favorite Sargeist album is their amazing debut, Satanic Black Devotion. So many great songs on that album with that signature grimness. I also highly recommend two compilation albums: Sargeist’s “Rebirth of a Cursed Existence”, and Satanic Warmaster’s “We Are the Worms That Crawl on the Wings of an Angel”. Both are basically collections of material from their hard to find EPs and splits, and for both bands some of their very best songs are found in these collections.

I have Rebirth of a Cursed Existence! And it is excellent, I don’t have that Satanic Warmaster but I thought I saw something where he was re-releasing a compilation or two maybe it was the one you mentioned

Agree with you about Satanic Warmaster, imo only behexen comes close on the finnish scene. Their first 3 albums are all masterpieces, especially Carelian Satanist Madness

Honestly never heard of Sarastus but I’ll check them out. I’m not a huge Beherit fame and admittedly I haven’t listened to a whole lot of Goatmoon, probably should revisit
