If you only listened to “A Love Letter to Truckee” and never looked at the film, you’d think it was one’s person’s confession that he has discovered love. And we think of that love in traditional terms as between two partners in life. Instead, it’s just me wearing my heart on my sleeve and sharing my love for little mountain hometown of Truckee, California near Lake Tahoe.

Miss home. Generations of my family are from here. Stomping around Donner or out in Prosser. I had a blessed childhood, with many family/friends. Hope to spread some of my dad’s Ashes in our secret fishing spot one day when I come home to say goodbye.❤

Extremely well done! The love never ends... as a resident from 1981 - 86 (three years at Donner Lake, one on the Truckee River near downtown, and one in Carnelian Bay), the experiences and memories are etched in my soul.
