How old are you, Malcolm, if I can ask. I wondered if you are a similar generation to me. I turned 60 this year. I grew up in Sleaford, now live in Leeds. I feel a nostalgia looking at sights of Lincs. My brother still lives in Lincs, so do get there sometimes.

I'm 73. Lived at Ulceby near Alford until I was 25, spending a year at a residential Agricultural Engineering college at Thame near Oxford when I was 16/17. I got a job in Winchester, but didn't like it so went back to Ulceby after 9 weeks. Then 4 years in a mobile home at Welton, before coming here in May 1979. From Christmas until then I lodged with a friend across town. Now my health has improved slightly, my young friend was going to take me to a show for a day out, but of course they've all been cancelled.

Hi Malcolm, nice to hear about you. Sorry for delay in reply,- thought I'd replied. As I said I grew up in Sleaford, then went to Leeds in 1979 and stayed there apart from visiting my parents in Lincs. They have now passed. My brother still lives in Lincs, in Woodhall Spa. He has M S, - gets around in a car. I occasionally return to Lincs to see him.@@MalcOfLincoln

Locals aren't very friendly are they? In Ireland you'd always get someone to have a chat with when out and about. I take it back as I saw the last bit and someone was up for a chat.
