thanks! Glad you like it. I've spent at least 2 month on this track. First back in 2011 when I was writting the notes [I don't doubt for a sec. plenty of them are still wrong] and then another month in 2015 when I was remixing :D

possibly yeah. I don't even remember but I do believe this mix has subs on kik and bass and I guess I had to be a bit radical on the sub attenuation of the bass when kik hits. I usually put subs just on kik or just on bass but over here back in the day I was trying to produce stongs that had as much sub on both as possible and I guess this is the only song where it kind of worked Idk. I'm planing on remaking both of Turrican themes that I've released + Turican 1 intro in the future.

there are a bunch of differences to the exact notes of the original. It took me 4 weeks to write down the notes to this song back in 2011. [it was in April so that makes it almost exactly 7 years ago from today when I finished it]. After that I got a midi file, but it wasn't complete. I think it was about half of the song. So I kind of used it as a reference. I'm sure I got many notes wrong without a doubt dude. The only like real intentional difference that I've made was that part before the ending of the song where there's like a break down with just back synth playing what it's mostly playing through the whole song but you can't really hear it. It was done by a mistake and sounded so badass that I wanted to leave that in as my little addition. Every other difference is basically just me not being able to correctly identify notes LOL A friend of mine also warned me that I missed some of the pluck rhythmics....I'm not sure if that's 100% true, but since he grew up on the game Ima have to take his word on it LOL

What harmonics? What are you even talking about? I'm pretty sure I wrote a lot of the chords or even melodies or bass tracks wrong, but harmonics? Where did I miss the harmonics? Whet do you even mean by that? WTF dude?

@@ArcadeMusicTribute Maybe it's not the right term in English, but yes, the bassline and chord progression is a lot more monotonous than in the original.

@@Mnnvint It's literally the same note per note. Like yeah I might've missed a tone in a particular chord here and there, but every single thing that's in the original is in mine. The only change I've made was towards the end I let the background synth role 2 rounds before the main lead drops. I made one remix in 2011 before this one and I made a mistake, but it sounded really cool to me so left it in. Regarding the "harmonics" - I have no idea what you're talking about. If you mean like harmonies I've actually added a few and If I missed anything that certainly was not my intention. I actually got this song now by tracks so I can listen to every instrument solo and I will be remaking this mix by the end of this year or next year so it'll sound even better. In any case as long as you don't give me exact examples like time min. / sec. and describe what's happening and what exactly is it that I've missed, your post is just a subjective opinion. "monotonous" is very vague description.
