I'm curous wth happened here...this knife is ridiculously super good. From the factory not a super great edge...but once it's honed up it's next level. Love this handle too, the swells are in the right places. The sheath from AnM is a terribly over-engineered joke.

7:24, I guess this knife is not for me? I ENJOY and DO carry multiple knives. Not only do I subscribe to using the right tool for the job; but I also believe in having backup plans and options. Now, if it's okay that I carry this knife, along with my Spyderco Paramilitary 2, my Case Trapper and my Leatherman Wave, then I might pick one up. Otherwise, I'll just stick with my First Edge 5150, for serious work.

Cool knife, but I didn’t see a single thing in that video that I haven’t done with my U knife. Need more convincing to spend $700

My first edge field knife does. It's a tank and it holds an edge pretty well too. That being said. I really like this Abraham and Moses knife.

The fact that there is no edge deformity to the bent blade is impressive but I have no idea why this is significant. What do you do with a bent knife besides throw it away?? A broken knife can still be used and sheathed. Maybe its a spoon whittler now. Can you bend it back straight??

Addison Esslinger It just shows that the edge is HIGLY resistant to chipping. Everything in a good knife bends before chipping. Not to say high quality knives with hard steel are bad but I like deformation over chipping. Let’s say you accidentally hit a rock or a wood has some sand imbedded into it. It’s better that the edge bends and can be resharpened/honed rather than chip which needs a complete reprofiling.
