(I learnt the pronunciation from a Christian Brothers recording). Many years ago I taught my daughter what I told her was a magical ancient Celtic blessing. But it was actually 'The Hail Mary' in Irish, which is called the 'Sé do Bheatha, a Mhuire'. She had a nightmare one night and while not being religious I felt she might a prayer ..... as I was reminded of my own childhood and the time when I was about seven years of age. I had woke up screaming in terror one night but was peacefully sound asleep with minutes after saying 'The Hail Mary' on my mother's instructions. Such is the power of belief/prayer. Great way to practise the Irish language too. (The Hail Mary in Irish)
