Do you know that Langkawi was the first UNESCO geopark in Southeast Asia. On the island, there's a sandstone rock formations ageing 550 millions years old and also a granite pebble dropstone ageing a billion years old dated from the supercontinent.

Did you get to see the bats? They are everywhere, in a thousands, in the darkest area of the cave clinging upside down on the ceiling. You gotta point your torchlight upwards. Your tour guide was too quiet. There are better guides if you did some research. They'll tell you what to do and to expect, especially in that bat caves. Me and my family did the tour a few months back and we had a blast. The tourist guide was really fun and knowledgeable.
