Wow. That was an amazing fairy tale. Thank you. I love it so far already. The magical winter realm of fairies that come around the globe to bring snow and ice once they cross and pass through the portal, which gives them a fast transportation to get one place to another. The minister is in charge of watching the entire world by looking on the screen of a computer and has a travel machine to make a portal for the fairies to travel safely. Among them is the strongest fairy named Bianca who has two little daughters, Alba and Lumi. The fairy girls are curious about the outside world and determined to see everything and everyone in it. But their mama said they are too young to go out of the realm by themselves and their magic needs a little more practice until they are old enough. As Bianca and the other fairies fly through the portal to the realm of the elves, Alba and Lumi sneak in behind them (they disobeyed their mother), and suddenly go the wrong way. Instead of the realm of the elves, Alba and Lumi enter the planet Earth. They are in the human world! Stranded and lost. Oh, the little fairies. They do not know what to do and no one even knows where they are. At the school, there is a girl named Gwen who lives in a little cottage with her widowed mother up in the mountain and loves to go ice skating - It is her hobby since she was a little child and wishes she has a pair of skates of her own. But Gwen has a major problem. She gets bullied by three mean kids, Matilda and her friends. Matilda insults Gwen and often says she cannot enter the ice skating competition because she has no skates. How negative and cruel of that Matilda. She thinks of being the most popular in school and calls herself the best ice skater. (Scoffs) I hate bullies, they give people nothing but trouble and do terrible things to hurt them by beating and humiliating them, so they could get away with it. Poor Gwen. No wonder she has to put up with those school bullies that anger her. She has a thought that if she had skates to win the competition, she would teach that heartless Matilda a lesson for messing with her. While Gwen is on her way home, she hears someone crying for help and comes to the rescue. Alba and Lumi are caught in a web and the spider is about to eat them until Gwen breaks the web to free them. Quick save. And to her surprise, Gwen has just saved a couple of real fairies. Alba panics and tells her sister to get away from the human. But Lumi cannot do that, she thanks the girl for saving their lives from that spider. Alba is grateful too, but she knows they are not supposed to be seen by humans when Gwen is happy to meet her first fairies and brings them to her home. The fairies and the girl get along quite well and become friends on Earth. In the kitchen, Alba and Lumi drink something they have never tasted before. They thought it looks like magic and ask Gwen what it is. Gwen says it is hot chocolate. Then she tells her new friends she wants to enter an ice skating competition, but has no skates. The fairies feel sorry for her and decide to help her by using their magic to make skates, which they have never tried. Eventually, the magic works. Gwen puts her new magical skates on and practices wonderfully. She thanks Alba and Lumi for their help. They make her happy. But meanwhile, back in the fairy realm, Bianca returns home and finds out her daughters are both missing. She is worried about them. When Bianca asks the minister if he has seen her children around, he replies no. Then, to their shock, Bianca, the minister and the other fairies notice the signal in the globe on the screen: Alba and Lumi are on Earth after accidentally flying through the portal. Bianca must fly back to Earth and find her children alone. While Alba and Lumi are hiding in Gwen's backpack, they see what a school looks like and learn all about it. They find it kind of boring. Gwen gets it too, but sometimes it is a good place for learning. On the way out, Matilda and her friends cross her and start bullying her again and the fairies get an unpleasant discovery. Gwen dares to challenge Matilda to ice skating before the competition. Sure, Matilda skates very well that she gets cheers for her talent. But as the other kids witness Gwen move gracefully in her magical skates, she gets more cheers and makes her bully angry and jealous. I fear that mean-spirited girl will get her revenge against Gwen once the competition starts the next day. One morning, Gwen and her little fairy friends get prepare for the big day at the ice skating competition till they notice the magical skates are gone. And when Gwen asks her mother what happened to her skates, her mother says the girl named Lily, with blue ribbons in her hair, came to the cottage this morning for some urgent school assignment and then took off. A girl with blue ribbons? Then, they realize it was Matilda's friend! Matilda sent her to steal Gwen's skates, so she can get her out of the way and win the competition for glory, only when Bianca discovers those magical skates are from her daughters. Gwen cries desperately for failing to accomplish her goal to enter the competition, but Alba and Lumi try to cheer her up and will make her a pair of new skates. Suddenly, Bianca finds her children and tells them how worried she has been about them and scolds them. Alba confesses her guilt, it was her idea and lets mama ground her for disobedience. Then she and her sister explain to their mother about Gwen losing her skates and trying to help her get to the ice skating competition before it is too late. Bianca reasonably understands. She gives the girl a new magical pair of skates and encourages her to try them. Gwen enjoys her new skates and they work perfectly. Now she must hurry, the competition is going to start. For a moment at the ice rink, Matilda and her friends think they got Gwen out of the competition and win the glory when they stole those magical skates, but they are wrong. Gwen happily enter the ice rink and participates with confidence and believes with all her heart. She did it. She wins the competition. Now Matilda and her friends no longer bully the new champion anymore, for they lost because of their arrogance, cruelty and selfishness. After the competition, Alba and Lumi are going to say goodbye to Gwen, hoping to see her again. Their mother tells her daughters are grounded for now, but they will return to Earth after that. Yes, they will come back to visit their friend whenever they have the time as long as she accompanies them through the portal, of course. That is cheerful. Gwen will miss them dearly and will be looking forward to seeing Alba and Lumi again. As time passes, Gwen grows up, puts her skates that still fit her foot size and continue to win more competitions. The fairies regularly visit her, not without their hot chocolate. Gwen is a happy girl. She makes good friends and lives a good life. Gwen owes it to Alba and Lumi who have brighten her day, that is what matters. When you believe in yourself, the magic of good things will always reward you. I really love this. I wish the fairies, pixies and sprites would do the same for me. To help me whenever I am in trouble, make me happy, keep me company from my loneliness, and play with me. Even my imaginary fairy godmother Panrika would do that. I still never gave up believing in fairies and magic with all my heart like my late hero, Walt Disney. But most of all I refuse to grow up and forget the fun, precious things of my childhood like Peter Pan. My one and only wish is to keep the magic alive forever. I always wish to be a little fairy that stays strong, childlike, young, and beautiful forever and ever.
