Pile 3: I was almost in tears when I heard your reading Dear Reem. I’ve been struggling with my board exam, at my last attempt, I had passed my exam and then suddenly they tell me a week before my practical they told me I wasn’t allowed to attend and that was very suspicious. I always felt that some funny business was going on especially since we had heard the board members were accepting bribes and I felt in my heart that something was wrong. After some time, one of the examiners contacted me and he was so keen to assist, maybe his guilt was bothering him about what he’s done. I’ve been so despondent about my career ever since and been contemplating getting into another field. It’s as if they killed the flame within me, the passion I had to help and make a difference in people’s lives. This was needed to be heard! I’ve struggled so much mentally with things I’ve tried to help and spreading awareness on topics that people didn’t seem to care about but it’s taken a toll on me at a young age and I’ve now realized that it’s unfair I’m stuck with the aftermath of seeing those horrible things at such a young age and I’m forgiven myself for doing what I could and I accept I’m living with these things now (hope this makes sense) but I choose to not live that way anymore and CHOOSE to continue little by little living a beautiful life I deserve whilst knowing I’m a fighter and always try my best!! Dear kinsister, kindaughter @wearemadeofgaia. Reasing awareness on topics that you feel strongly about is already a blessing and a victory. It means you are not only conscious of them - and perhaps that they are part of your mission - but in addition, you were able to articulate those topic outside of you and onto others. I call you "kinship" names because I recognize myself in your short story. I have encountered many passivity, misunderstanding, depht, opposition and injustice. But, in my case, the times passing were working in favorable way to awaken the very people that could not hear me, deflated me, circumvented financing away from me. Time had evolved to the point where it was no longer rocket science,, and all people could see what I was talking about for almost a decade. Suddenly, I had indeed become an expert. I did not stop learning, analyzing and devising solutions. I am now considered a precursor in a field where the very interested industry was not concern of my warning. As I said I did not remain static with times. I was evolving as well. This time around, I no longer need to raise awareness but I have courses, programs and expert- solutions ready (with a price-tag!). People must take or leave what I have to offer. But because it is now very much acutely their problem, they have been coming. I wanted to tell you that you are on the right path. Stay alert, resilient, passionate and keep working and refining. A path means a journey! One that you get to navigate, explore, refine and deliver to mother gaia! Times, people reactions, and yourself, will change overtime. Most important is that you saw, felt and communicated. Now live your best life through it. Stop feeling annoyed or defeated. You are only going through pre-game. I don’t really believe things will ever change, and certainly don’t believe it’s necessary to make us go through hell just to live a decent life later on.
