As always great video Cane, keep up the good work! Feel like with all of the plays we see from Devin Lloyd in the games we watch it seems like offering him a contract would be very beneficial for the defense to sort of give them a real captain and the linebacker spot.

Great video! Just a heads-up, the CPU sometimes cuts players to sign backups for the offensive line. Last time, it cut my 76 overall DT and signed a 66 overall RG… and I already had the “fill rosters” option turned off 😪

I drafted a star dev center who, after doing one of the weekly strategy minigames, increased his dev trait to superstar. I had never seen that before. It was right under the +750 exp on the drill completion screen and everything. It might be worth it to do the minigames every week.

I know the smart football play to replace Lawrence is to keep an eye on the draft and try to take a first-round QB with great potential... but man, I'm hoping for Chuck Johnson to sneak into the QB1 spot and become this dynasty's Brock Purdy. In any case, not sure it matters who the QB is, at least this season. With three rookies, the O-line is going to have some serious growing pains. I also think you should do Storylines. I'm not familiar with all of them, but surely there are "right" answers that improve the team's rating and morale instead of simply hurting you. There may be some trial and error involved, but learning to handle the media and say the right things is all part of Nate Bell's journey as a first-time head coach.

Mrhurricane I have noticed that you want you d line to be better pass rushers, I have figured out a solution to your problem, you need to change your d ends from power rushers to speed rushers because the power rushers archipe is for stopping the run but speed rushers excell in sacking the quarterback, I'll help you with any other problem that pop up in the series

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing game 1 of the preseason, especially if there's a class that has intriguing players, but players that aren't necessarily week one starters, which I feel like going forward, unless you draft someone generational (or a solid QB next year) we'll probably be looking at future players in that preseason week one matchup.

Great content as always! Quick question for you Cane unrelated to this series. I know you tried a practice squad only series on Madden 22 and it has me wanting to try it myself watching it again. Any advice you would offer towards it? Do you think it would’ve worked if you were able to stick with it?

My attempt lasted almost 10 years and I eventually changed the rules because there didn't seem to be a great path forward outside of getting really lucky with breakouts. I think if you're going to do it feel free to use one of the better playbooks to give yourself a chance. If I were to try it again I'd have a very run oriented team as I think the simming rewards good running teams often.

I think this is a 10-7 wild care hopeful team, Lawrence may hold you back as might the run block power of the OL but playmaking may be good enough to overcome those issues most weeks That pick by Lawrence should have never happened as he we going down and the ball was shot put (the animation) to the intended target and should have been an incomplete pass not an INT, c'mon don't screw my man Mr. Hurriicane Walker & Lloyd have to come back as I saw you cleared space early in the season everyone else is a toss up

Wow. Lawrence was awful in the Titans game. The interception is bad sure, but the pocket feel and general awareness was terrible. Concerning because that's also going to hurt the growth and development of the young OL. Denver game was better-ish, but that internal clock is so late and I just don't think with Normal development there is anything more you can ask in terms of progressing as a player. Edit: Just want to express my appreciation and wish you a Happy Holidays, Cane! Life can be thankless sometimes, so know that I am grateful!
