“Open your eyes to the darkness, and drown in its loveless embrace. The gods will not be watching.” Doing this fight on release is a memory I will always have etched in my mind. Before things got nerfed, and before people really got used to the mechanics, it was extremely difficult for a lot of players to figure it all out. As a savage raider at the time, I picked up on things pretty quickly that first day, but even so it’s hard to survive when twenty other players are dead lol

The sheer amount of times of people choosing to vote abandon the duty because they couldn't get their stuff together was insane. This guy was a true gate keeper on release and those who suffered and powered through it will remember that pain
