yes and no, even in Japanese myth the spirits like people were not cut and paste good or evil, some of their biggest heros are helped by the same types of Yokai other heros have to slay, different Yokai, Different motives. But on average yes Yokai are after humans, but even then usually out of revenge for Human actions.
