Elisha Licha please don’t sit here acting like Canada’s socialist healthcare system is somehow better than America’s because that is far from the truth. Yeah you might have free health care but you have higher overall taxes and your quality of healthcare is not nearly the same, I’m sorry. It’s most definitely not perfect here in America, we are constantly trying to figure it out, but there is no easy solutions. Doctors still need to get paid and people still need to get good treatment. Yes, America has work to do but Canada does not have an ideal healthcare system either. It’s a VERY complicated issue that there is no easy solution to
@elishacreed6044 жыл бұрын
Hayden Harris I’m not trying to pretend like Canada has a perfect health care system but it is free for the most part. I was just speaking on the fact that America to a lot of people looking into America it comes off as an country that could and should be able to afford to give some services to their people for free. Yes doctors need to paid, but people need to be taken care of as well. If Canada and other countries can figure out how to make all or some services free should America be able to do the same? Why can’t they? A lot of things need to change the government needs to start taking care of their people. I’m sure there’s a middle solution. Like I said it boggles my mind from an outsider looking in.

There is no such thing as free healthcare.
@haydenharris8464 жыл бұрын
Elisha Licha okay, I can understand that. But unfortunately nothing in life is free. Canada is also socialist whereas America thrives on capitalism; a socialist welfare and healthcare system like Canada’s would not work in America where most people who can afford it would elect to have private and better healthcare coverage. Free universal healthcare mandated by the government would also put a lot of private healthcare companies out of business in America and that would be just as bad as someone not having healthcare because then a lot of people would be jobless. Like I said, no easy solution unfortunately

In Jamaica.... Some doctors just hands an inhaler to you for free or you can go to the hospital to get the actual ventilation free. That's our third world problem. Lol. Healthcare is free so we don't have to demand it like that.
@dhenderson3194 жыл бұрын
That's right!! Tell them As bad as our health care system is you have the option of free health care or private care America doesn't If I go to the doctor in America I have to provide insurance proof Or get temporary insurance Which I need proof of citizenship and yearly income etc etc etc etc In Jamaica I just show up at the hospital
@nai-lahkristasimone51614 жыл бұрын
Hold on a second. You may be right but talk about the process you have to go through to get free healthcare. I dont go to public hospitals unless im dying. I rather pay for what i need. Even at the children's hospital. U will literally be waiting hours before u get to see a doctor
@dhenderson3194 жыл бұрын
@@nai-lahkristasimone5161 yeah truth We can all agree the system isnt perfect.. no one will agree Jamaica's health care can go without improvement But as a 3rd world country compared to a 1st world country Atleast our free health care is existent which America's is not
@cecee34804 жыл бұрын
Nai-lah Krista Simone In the US we wait for hours in the hospital. Urgent care can cost $300 for them to just tell you to go the hospital anyways. So most just go the emergency room. I was so sick once and they couldn't get me in a room. They had me in a wheelchair hooked up to IV fluids in the waiting room. It is the wild wild west when it comes to hospitals out here. It really is disgusting and inhumane. People think we have quality health care out here. We really dont.

I’m with Amanda on this one... it’s hard for me to speak on this because usually people who are desperate sometimes do end up doing things innocently not because they’re bad people but because sometimes they don’t know what to do and the only thing they can think of is just fending for themselves without necessarily causing a scene... so although is calm approach and the way he did may allow us to think about it and be sympathetic on the other end... if he does have a child like Jeannie said with her suggestion he could find ways to see what kind of help he can get in regards to his child’s health and hopefully the child can get what he/ she needs to be in a better state when it comes to their health ! But if he doesn’t... just imagine how easy it was to manipulate the person behind the desk and they comply

Jeanie is too educated to make such an ignorant generalization re “this is not the third world where you just go and help yourself out”. The term “third world” is outdated as is and the derogatory tone of the statement doesn’t help her point to be anything more than prejudicial and nonsensical. Yes. “Third world” countries do have laws and majority law abiding citizens, not kind of barbaric behavior she’s seems to be suggesting.
