Watching from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 with so much tears in my eyes. This has got to be the most beautiful story of redemption. God always uses the toughest battles to refine his warriors. Praise God for your lives. Thank you thank you thank you.❤️🙏

WOW 😢 I am speechless, I never knew this. I can’t even begin to imagine how difficult that would be. Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ ( The Word ) for speaking to Ron and giving him the strength to continue with his marriage. That would be so difficult, BUT GOD restored them

God told Hosea to marry Gomer. That’s crazy love! The love of God is misunderstood by many. But “Love always protects, love always trust, love always hopes, love never fails…” Everyone wants Gods forgiveness but then those same people refuse to give others that forgiveness. Ron and Hope are showing us real reconciliation. 🤎🤍❤️

Ron you are a brave man for taking your unfaithful wife back. Personally I would’ve never done that. She does not get to go have her fun and then come back to the sanctity of a marriage. Hope you laid out boundaries and YES she has to do whatever you ask her to do. Period. God can forgive, but he’s on another level and none of us are God. A cheating woman should never be forgiven….ever. That is the lowest thing you can do to a man. Been married for 21 years, with kids. LOYALTY and TRUST have always been paramount for the marriage. If you’re not happy it’s better to talk to your spouse, not another man or woman. Wife and I always believe that, and that’s why the marriage has lasted this long. You might not always like the answer but you have to be happy yourself to make the other person happy. That does not mean you engage in destructive behaviour and preach to others on how to live their lives.

Marriage is a sacred covenant between God, a husband and wife, that is not to be betrayed or broken. Betrayal comes in a marriage when you allow pride and selfishness to come in. When things are going wrong, that's not the time to commit adultery or have affair's, this is when you need to communicate with each other and get to the root cause of your problems. Infidelity doesn't happen because of loneliness, it happens because of lust of the flesh, that hasn't been dealt with. A wife is not to blame when her husband cheats, nor is the husband to blame when his wife cheats. The blame lies with the one who cheated and them alone. A marriage can be restored and God can heal any marriage, but you have to be willing and want him to. It takes two in a marriage to make it work. Marriage is 100/100, not 50/50. When we do marriage God's way we won't have to worry about issues like infidelity from the start. When you are faithful to God first, you will be faithful to other's!👏🙏❤️🙌❤️🙌❤️🙌❤️🙌
@michellecurry5366 күн бұрын
Some of your response is truth but then there are some holes in it. You said it takes two to make a marriage work. God can restore a marriage even if it’s just one person praying and standing. He is the God of the impossible. Marriage is never 100/100. There will be times when you will give more than your spouse and when your spouse will give more than you. A marriage can be as dead as Lazarus and be resurrected if one spouse believes and prays for restoration. 🙏

Many people don’t know and understand their triggers from past trauma and it makes them weak when temptation comes. This is the reality. Marriage doesn’t save or heal anything. It’s a partnership. The husband isn’t a caregiver and wife isn’t a nurse. Jesus is the healer. Prioritize healing. Peace is not in a six pack it’s coming to repentance then times of refreshing will come.

I went to that church from age 18 to 28 Pastor Ron was not the same man after the affair, his preaching changed, the affair changed the way I view Marriage and women. I remember women in the church trying to blame Pastor Ron for the Affair. I do not see any correlation between hope being rape as teenage and having at affair at age 35. Infact Pastor Hope had a luxurious lifestyle during the time of the affair far better than most women.

@own now Have you ever met Hope Carpenter and Ron Carpenter in person ????
@captainsisko7629 Жыл бұрын
@own now I have always understood the duties , protocols of marriage for a husband and so did pastor Ron at the time, infact he did a sermon on marriage where he stated "Not my fault but still my responsibility". In my comment I was referring to women in the church, who didn't believe Hope was cheating, they assumed Pastor Ron was cheating on his wife. If you want to stick to Biblical protocol Pastor Ron has every right to divorce Hope.

What do you mean “she doesn’t seem to bring good luck to this man”. You’re right, she doesn’t bring good luck as luck has nothing to do with it. It’s the redeeming grace of God that brought the two of them healing. Look in the mirror my dear, as God gives you the same redeeming grace. He gave his son for them just as he did for you. May God bless you
