I live in Orlando. So glad I found out about Bois Imperial. It just hits right for this climate I live in. I had a 10ml of Ganymede first and I really enjoyed that one alot. I just struggled to be able to pull it off in high heat situations. Bois fixed that problem for ME! Great review Derrick as always! Gonna try a decant of this new one.

Just grabbed Ganymede.. Initial spray comes of stank to me…but after the dry down, it’s definitely something different. Hopefully I can love it, like so many others! Good review Dedrick!

When I first got these, I thought these were 95% identical. Fast forward a year and now I think they are similar, but at the same time very different. Ganymede the superior, smoother fragrance. It’s more complex, better blended, less screechy, and takes you on a journey.

I have Lattafa Masa which is a Ganymede twist with Mango. I love that DNA. I just used up my Extrait sample and will purchase a full bottle in the future. I have Bois Imperial and feel they are very different so those interested should try out both.

This is one of those fragrances you have to give a full wearing or forget it lol same with TF oud mineral. I enjoyed Gynamede, some similarities to Blue Talisman dry down

I have the clone Hanymede by Alexandria fragrance and it smells amazing,strong and very potent and it last 12hrs and more on clothes. Another thing it smells REAL close to Ganymede. To me it’s a suited & booted fragrance. I love rocking it.

Try “cupbearers citron wood” from Dua. It’s a Ganymede and Cedrat Boise hybrid.

Definitely not feminine leaning. Ganymede is amazing. But so is Bois Imperial. Quentin Bisch is an amazing perfumer. Try B683 by Quentin (under Marc Antoine Barrois). Same DNA.

I have Bois Imperial which I hear is a fresher take on Ganymede and is actually made my the same perfumer. Bois is a banger for me. Also got the Cupbearer from Dua coming in soon. Apparently it’s a mix of Bvgari Tygar and Ganymede. Pretty interested to see how that turns out

That doesn’t really capture the mineral-ality of Ganymede. Pretend like slightly-orangey drinking water has been routed over marble and has picked up some of the stone’s taste in the water, that’s how Ganymede smells to me. I never got much of a leather scent off of my skin, but everyone’s chemistry is different. Hope that helps.

I know you didn't ask me, but I'll share my experience. They are similar, but not the same. Ganymeade is that cool ass big brother or uncle. He has a penthouse, cool car, dresses in Armani, good with the ladies and nobody knows what he does for a living. Bois Impérial is also intriguing (I think it's the akigalawood), but far more mass appealing because of the freshness in my humble opinion.
