At this point, I wouldn't be surprised to see Luffy display some Logia-type abilities. Like, Kaido bisects Luffy with a razor wind of some sort, and the bottom of Luffy's torso stretches out to rejoin his legs. I imagine at that point, Kaido would just be DONE with this whole thing!

In Chapter 277 of Volume 30, when Luffy is trying to escape from the giant anaconda, he opens up the snake's eyelids, but how can he do that when he's inside the eye? Please ask Luffy how he did that!! O: Yeah I know, that didn't make any sense. Luffy! Come here!! Luffy: What? What's the problem? There's nothing wrong about this. O: Yes there is! How do you raise the eyelid from inside the eyeball? And while we're on that subject, how can you be INSIDE the eyeball in the first place?! Luffy: It's all right, don't worry about it. Wasn't it funny? O: Yeah, I guess it was! That's the key. Luffy: Yep yep, ahahaha. O: Ahahahahaha...

Judging by what Kaido said about Luffy's DF, what are the chances that he will have properties similar to that of a Logia user? As I read the part (mostly from the brief summary) about how Luffy was referred to as a God when he grew in size, will any character view him as an actual God similar to Usopp, Buggy, and maybe even Hancock?

Thank you for pointing the last realm out. You've made a joke and i feel that if it weren't for your crunch time, you would've dug deeper into it. My take: Imagine the crew needing to visit Elbaf to get Zoro out of the Realm of the Dead, not just to visit it for the funsies and natural progression. And Kaido spilling the fact that this is a thing in the first place after recognizing Luffy and the Gang. Would a) dwarf and mirror Sanji's Whole Cake Island character arc (as it should be) and would also give the necessary weight for someone who wants to become the King of Hell with a Sword named Enma. Would be crazy, eh? If this ends up happening for real you can and should send me cookies, folks.

Either Carmel had a fruit in her pocket just in case of her own death (which would mean that Linkin didn't even swallowed her whole, she actually bit her to death with her massive teeth so that the fruit would be eaten after the body) or... Her DF ability having to do with souls potentially bypassed this. Oooooooor (what I think is the most plausible) Carmel was supervised by the WG, when things looked like she (assuming she was a troublemaker) could die and it'd be easy to make it look like an accident they killed her off, had a fruit ready and let Linlin eat both or just the fruit, so that the WG could still be in possession of the fruit. If it's the latter it'd would retroactively splendidly mirror what happened to the last Gear 4 Luffy vs Kaido round. That'd also beg the question if the WG tried that with the other Yonko as well. But yeah I don't think that the way is to eat a DF user to get the powers, too many strange things surrounding the Linlin incident
