I think the largest filter you can use is 86mm, annoyingly the matt box doesn't have a direct filter head, otherwise I think that would work

So are all the step up rings only 82mm thread after they’ve been stepped up from whatever? Does that make sense lol? For instance will the 77 to 95 accommodate a 77mm VND?

The step up rings (at least on the pro version) I front filter size matches the size of the lens. So if you put the 95mm-72mm adapter on the box the front filter thread is 72mm. So while you can use a 72mm filter on this adapter if you switch to the 95mm-67mm you will then need a 67mm filter or at least another 67mm-95mm adapter.

Yes you should be able to stack multiple circular filters, as long as they are thin. Although you might get some vignetting depending on the focal length of your lens

I bought recently and it work like charm on daylight , and for indoor event , it dragged a lot of attention as basically looks professional and everyone think you are professional cinematographer and it is unbelievable 😂 Downside was very hassle when wanna changing from a lens to another lens, especially wide angle to telephoto lens.

@@michaelhabegger6672 Yes ….it’s the same except side flags and a better top flag. If you bought the base model you can buy the flag upgrade separately and put them…..works great!

I use a 77 to 82mm step up to use 82mm filter on my lens, can I still use this matte box mini? does it step up to 95mm for the mattebox then step down again for filters?

Yes, but you'll need the 77-95 Matt box adapter

Anything but a Tiffen 82mm Variable ND which doesn't fit.
