That view from the airbnb was so nice! I was thinking of visiting Taiwan in the future, how is it with English in Taiwan? I went on a solo trip to Beijing recently and not one person (not even in my hotel) was speaking English but we made do with apps haha.

Yesss! Love the view from the airbnb 🥹 I’m not too sure about the older generation but I’ve interacted with a couple of people in their 30s and younger and they could speak english! I think it really depends on where you go.. You could probably find more english-speaking locals in Taipei than in the more rural areas than Jiufen.
