Source: Well...I'm sure most who know me, know already My one main recommendation for folks for dealing with this, the hitbox does not disappear, despite how it looks. Aim for the middle, use your shotgun if you got it. If the warlock dies before they pop out, no lighting will arrive.

@@Toriental_VortX yes the lightning surge hotbox is so stupid lol, i n the past the description was blink or phase out of existence but I've been meleed and shotgunned out of the animation before it even jolted and did any damage This was before prismatic but I'm sure nothing has changed since then

Buddy of mine uses devour arcane surge with spirit of necrotic and spirit of syntho, made me start using liars handshake in pvp lol

Been rocking max mobility, blink, lightning surge, arcane needle, astrocyte, etc with hipfire weapons (I use DMT and sidearm). I'm not good enough to get the best use out of it but it is nice having such quick and free movement.

I'd imagine feedback fence riskrunner to be the easiest pairing. I did find out that the icefall mantle will tank the impact/jolt damage, but you can't really do much outside of that.

Man I saw that buff and thought It would be perfect for a funny trinity ghoul build, if you dont get the one hit kill with the lightning surge, you can always finish them off with a trinity ghoul hipfire if you got the arc shot

consecration does a hell of a lot more than 150 damage on hit. I mean, if titans are allowed to just one shot us with their jump slam, why cant warlocks have their HHSN back?

So, while this is true, consecration is a 2 part ability that requires a primer input and a detonator input. Lightning surge requires one input and has more consistent hit registration compared to consecration. Also, not many players that I play against run consecration. They run lightning surge.

@@HonoredD2 In my experience, I come across titans trying to one shot throughout the entire game in at least one in every 5 matches, possibly 4. I get the concerns about lightning surge, but I would really like my HHSN back. Yea, it was easier to land than consecration, but you could also hear it charging up. Smart players would just bait it and tap you to death from cover. If a titan slides in font of you from around the corner and he isnt damaged, its probably over if he has consecration.

Tbh all it takes is a shotgun shot or anything that stops you sprinting or using abilities then lightning surge is an easy kill, you can even just jump out of reach, I almost never die to it because it has so many counters

ive been preaching since the final shapes launch, prismatic is entirely unhealthy for the game. it steals the identities of other classes and in 90% of cases it fully replaces the original classes. why run arc which has generally weak fragments when you can run prism with fragments that at 10x better? prismatic killed destiny 2.
