Memories of the old Falls General store. I remember when Thurstons general store was always busy and worked for my uncle who had a painting business back then. Dads house was flooded by Irene-(Water Street). Also lived way out on Bull Run Road many years ago. Cool video- thanks-

Really. ... it's so amazing to hear and see the history of places and things. So you know the last owners? Are you from VT? My husbands famiyly owns iit for the last 9 years. It was my first time going to the store and VT. It was absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for your comment.

I dont know any of the owners but if your husband was born and raised there, him or his dad may of known my dad or uncle or my brother and sister. Ask him or granpa if they remember Susan Cannon. She died in a house fire on that main road. I used to ride the school bus with her from Northfield to Randolph. Its a small world-@@motivatedqueen

It is most definitely a small world. My husband didn't grow up there. His parents brought the Old Falls Store 9 years ago . I am sorry to hear about the horrific passing.. May she rest in peace. I must say it's pretty cool to connect and converse about such a beautiful place. I can't wait to go back! I hope you have a wonderful evening
