Fire Emblem has a ranking system and you might know it's pretty silly. You might even know the Hector Mode rankings are bugged. But did you know there's a secret set of ranking requirements that might be the intended ones? And that someone did a run getting 5 stars in every rank in Lyn Hard Mode and Hector Hard Mode? Along with training every unpromoted unit to level 20, recruiting every unit, visiting every chapter including 19xx, getting all the treasure, going to the Linus and Jerme route split maps and never using the arena?

Hammerne uses are worth 600 gold. So it's best to use them on high value items. Aside from The Rapier and Wolf beil a very good target is the Brave Lance who unlike the other brave weapons is worth a whopping 7500 gold. Edit: I shouldn't write comments before finishing the video.

*Chronicles of the switch playalong* 39:57 And so, the saga of the 2 extra durability steel sword comes to an end. I can't really explain the amount of relief I got when I saw what the fate of that damn thing was going to be. Not much else to say, the final few chapters had their fair share of minor mistakes here and there due to the sheer length of the chapters themselves as I explained in an earlier chapter, but other than that not really much out of the ordinary happened. More than likely you'll see me in the final chapter next!

Engage has a poison mechanic too but its just true damage per stack So your lightning fist scroll monks can do +12 damage I guess

Up to +20 actually! Once you get 3 poison stacked (the max), the poisoned unit gets dealt +5 damage per strike ;) And it doesn't stop there: if you combine that with Alear's & SPOILERS' personal skills + Bravery+ you can get to +14 true damage per strike, so +56 damage if you can quad.

Does promoting the Lord's affect funds rank?

Yeah, the Heaven Seal is worth 20k gold, so promoting Eliwood/Lyn is twice as expensive as a regular promotion. Still perfectly viable in a ranked run without too much trouble, although Altissimo obviously has to be a lot more careful about spending money (especially since recruiting Farina effectively costs 40k with how the rank works...)
