M390 is not suitable for blades of your price. It has micro chips all over the edge after light duty wood cutting.

What's your preferred blade steel for small blades? S90V, Elmax? Magnacut? M4? 3V? I have a spartan blades fixe blade with S45VN that holds up really well.

It really shouldn't microtech only heat treats to 61hrc.
