@@christianparkour8880 Looking at the first time the word 'repent' is mentioned in the Bible, the Lord God uses it when talking about Himself- “And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.” Genesis 6:6 It doesn't make any sense in this verse to say that God "turned" or "changed His mind" about creating man, because if He did, we wouldn't be here right now. As soon as sin took place in Eden, God set forth prophecy of the coming Messiah (Gen 3:15), and thus, it would be a contradiction to the rest of Scripture for God to destroy man after he had already given knowledge for future events. (i.e. It would make God a liar at that point, and the Bible tells us God cannot lie. Tts 1:2) The King James Bible has a built-in dictionary in the Scripture itself, where the Lord God helps us to define the words that are used. In Genesis 6, the word 'repent' is defined as "grief of the heart." The Lord God felt grief that He had made man, so we can know that when God repented, it means that He felt pain by what He saw on the earth. Of course, God does not have grief and sorrow for wrongdoing because He does no wrong; it is impossible for the Lord God to sin. God is the standard for all good. However, God does repent in that He has grief and pain in His heart when He sees the wickedness of men, and He expects us Christians to have that same grief and pain in our hearts for our wrongdoing against Him. For example, when King Saul had done wickedness, and cared not for the things of God, it grieved not only the Lord God, but also His prophet Samuel- “It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.” 1 Samuel 15:11 This verse would not make much sense if we said "It turned me that I have setup Saul," (because the phrasing doesn't make sense) or "It changed me that I have setup Saul," (because God does not change - Mal 3:6) but rather, "It grieved me that I have set up Saul." For God to "turn" from setting up Saul would, in a sense, be God questioning His own decisions and foreknowledge, which would heresy, because God is all-knowing. Grammatically, contextually, and doctrinally, "grief and sorrow" makes a whole lot more sense. This definition can be found in many places all throughout the Old and New Testaments. For example, in Psalm 73:21, it says- “Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.” Psalm 73:21 When we look at other passages of Scripture, this same grief of repentance appears on the Day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit of God first came down to the church. Peter came forward to speak to thousands of people, and told them the story of God sending Christ, who was crucified, and that they had killed God with their own hands.- “Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Acts 2:37 Peter did not give them a list of works, but rather, he told the entire crowd, all those listening, to repent (i.e. have grief and godly sorrow for wrongdoing), and then be baptized in belief on the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission (i.e. forgiveness) of sins.- “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:38 Peter did not instruct them to reject that grief and sorrow, but rather, to embrace it because, as the Bible teaches us, godly sorrow is repentance to salvation.- “Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort,” 2 Corinthians 7:9-11 We need not regret or be ashamed of having grief and godly sorrow of wrongdoing because, as Paul pointed out, it leads us to salvation. The reason for this is because God does not give His grace to the proud of heart; He only gives grace to those who have been humbled to repentance.- “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6 “Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.” Proverbs 3:34 “Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.” 1 Peter 5:5 We don't receive grace without humility, and we don't have humility without the grief and godly sorrow of repentance. This is also what the word 'contrite' means in Scripture. The Bible tells us that God saves those who have a that contrite/repentant spirit- “The LORD is nigh [near] unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.” Psalm 34:18 “For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.” Isaiah 66:2 Many false preachers have taught that repentance is a work, but the Bible tells us that repentance is a gift from God, not a work of men- “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure [by chance] will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;” 2 Timothy 2:25 Many false preachers have taught that repentance was only meant for those who have already been born again in Christ, but this doctrine of men having grief and godly sorrow of wrongdoing was commanded by Christ to be taught to all men throughout the world- “And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance [grief and godly sorrow] and remission [forgiveness] of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” Luke 24:46-47 There is no punctuation between those words; Christ taught them to teach repentance (i.e. grief and godly sorrow) of sins, and remission (i.e. forgiveness) of sins, and that is exactly what Christ's disciples did. It started first with John the Baptist, who came preaching repentance- “John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.” Mark 1:4 The first thing that Jesus Christ taught when He started out in His ministry was repentance- “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17 The first thing He taught His disciples to go out and teach was repentance- “And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits... And they went out, and preached that men should repent.” Mark 6:7-12 As we just read, the first thing the apostles of Christ went out and taught, after the Holy Spirit of God had come upon them, was repentance. The first thing the church went out and taught after they were founded by the apostles was that men should repent- “But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.” Acts 26:20 Notice here that it says that they should repent, and then turn to God. If 'repent' meant "to turn to God," it would then be saying, "they should turn to God and turn to God, and do works meet for turning to God." That makes no sense, and is beyond redunant (i.e. needlessly repetitive). What's being said here is that, "they should have grief and godly sorrow for offenses against God and be converted, and then do works that match a heart that's been humbled to godly sorrow." In fact, the Bible separates the words 'repent' and 'turn' in the same verse- “For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.” Jeremiah 4:28 The word 'neither' is a conjunction that means "not one or the other" when giving two possible occurances in a sentence; or in other words, it means 'repent' and 'turn' don't mean the same thing. If 'repent' meant "to turn," then the phrase would be redundant and nonsensical because it would read "I will not turn, neither will I turn." God will not repent, meaning that He will not be grieved by the evil He brought upon the land because it is righteous judgment on a wicked people- “Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.” Ezekiel 14:6 Again, it's redundant if 'repent' meant "to turn" because it would be saying "Turn, and turn yourselves." God is calling them to grief and godly sorrow of wrongdoing, and that they would be converted, turning themselves away from their idols. When God wants to tell indicate "to turn," He uses the word 'turn' or 'return', but modern-day churchgoers are confusing the word 'repent' with the word 'convert'. This is why the Bible tells us to first repent (i.e. have grief and godly sorrow of wrongdoing), and then be converted (i.e. turn from old habits or religious beliefs to the new)- “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” Acts 3:19 I sincerely hope this helps you understand how important a role repentance plays in leading one unto salvation. One cannot be truly saved without first receiving the gift of repentance.

Faith is all I have left. It is truly the only armor against the enemy. Jesus give me guidance please. The devil is attacking me. These past three years have been difficult on me. As a single mom things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them especially now that I’m homeschooling them. People have put me down over my situation but God lifts me up! I suffered an heart attack two years ago and still battling lupus. Give me strength Lord as I constantly struggle to pay bills and constantly struggle to buy groceries for my children. BUT no matter what I face I will KEEP FAITH. Even though the devil wants me to give up. I will not! Jesus is King and I will serve him no matter my struggles.

We all are guilty of putting Jesus on that cross those before us and those after. But through his mercy and grace he has and will forgive us our sins if we go too him and ask forgiveness and acknowledge that he is the one true God and giver of life. Jesus through his final works being crucified on the cross shedding his blood too wash away our sins is our Lord and savior who died for our sins and was brought back too life by Our Holy Father in Heaven all praise be too God our Lord Amen. What greater gift than too live forever in Jesus, no amount of wealth can replace this the greatest of Gifts. When I think of Remembrance Day which comes but once a year for the Fallen Soldiers I ponder our Lord Jesus should not be remembered and thought of every second of every day for he is our creator and Father.

Jesus came to do the will of the Father and to finish His work (John 4:34): In John 1:1-3, Jesus is relaying to us what God is saying to him, but most of the world has this backwards. Jesus said, “if I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true” (John 5:31). If Jesus ever once spoke without the Father's command, he would have sinned-yet Jesus was without sin. In John 12:48-50, it explains how Jesus speaks and does only what the Father commands of him. When Jesus said “WHATSOEVER I speak therefore, even as the Father said to me, so I speak,” even a small child can understand this-yet most adults reject this by claiming Jesus as God and blaspheming God the Father. Jesus also tells us “those who reject His words will be judged by God” (John 12:48). When Jesus says his Father is “the only true God” (John 17:3), he meant it and it will never change. Speaking against Christ will only lead to hell.

I love your videos and messages but one thing I’m trying to understand is that these messages really seem to push the narrative that us Christian’s still need to do a lot of work to get into heaven. Yes repenting and turning from your sin is important and having a true relationship with Jesus is very important, but your good works don’t get you into heaven. Jesus did all the work for us believers so I was curious why these videos make it seem like we need to do so much work to get accepted into heaven. Maybe I’m misunderstanding. Christ was also a warrior, bold, and unafraid to speak truth to a hostile crowd. Read Matthew 23 for He gave a stern message to the religious and those who would use Christianity as a cowardly shield to not witness to anyone. While the Spirit was involved, this is fairly universally described as John's vision of heaven, with God on the theone; as opposed to an actual visit. Ezekiel also had a vision of God in heaven...
