Here you are. Im 45yrs, dont know where all those years gone, lost in overthinking. Done days out in the lakes either hostelling around or wildcamp over the years, not for a while now. Yeh, soiciety can swallow you and your time and your money up so live freely as poss. Get the mortgage paid off or low and pick and choose work to suit. Enjoy your travels.

I hope you are doing good, Liam. I have to admit though that I'm a little worried after hearing you say "don't cave in to society, keep going." Maybe I'm reading too much in to it but, I just got a bad feeling when you said those words. this video seems extremely personal and i hope you aren't suffering from depression or anything else serious. I know very well what its like to just want to escape from everyone and not feeling at home anywhere, only when I'm in nature away from civilization do i feel at ease with myself and my place in the world. Don't think your alone in those feelings man, there are a lot of us out here feeling the same. anyway, take care and i really appreciate every video you make, i watch all of them.

Couldnt agree more SimKris123, Seriously Liam I can't imagine what it takes to keep a you-tube channel going but it must be ball aching and never ending. Especially the editing and traveling. Thank you for this very personal video and I hope things are not as bad as what me and SimKris think. If you need to vent anything mate just let me know. It may be the parent in me that I may be over reading into your video but there are points with all of us that things become too much. I too hope you are not in a place where things are getting too much. Depression is still a thing us men are often still wanting to not admit but please it goes for you too SimKris there is lots of aids and help out there. I suffer with PTSD an I always feel the same I hate society they way it is ,I have no family no friends,so watching Liam helps me escape! So much so iv copied a few trips, always feel better away from the hustle here in Manchester an the gang yob culture of everyone trying to be a gangster rapper an selling drugs infact I think nearly everyone in Manchester is a dealer of some sort😂

Liam, my young brother. I genuinely hope from the bottom of my heart that as many young people listen and learn from everything you have just said in this short vid and all you do and say on your channel, in general. Please, please don't take this as some old, 53 year old "preachy" and patronising old dick head just sticking his nose in but I really do wish I had used your phillosophy as my blueprint for life a lot earlier. I don't think expensive "material" things can ever make you truly satisfied in life. Connecting with nature and the natural rythmns is a good start imo. We were put here to experience ourselves, within and outwardly in our place as part of the whole...together, interacting with each otber and within the natural world, not sitting at a desk for 50 years to help someone elses bank balance grow. Live flowing day by day, never regreting yesterday but grasping the moment because they come and go far too fast. Have some fun bro, love and light to you and yours. 🙏

Me and the wife were evicted from our rental accomodation jan this year ....we sold all our belongings and car ...and have been travelling ever since. Now out in Vietnam for few weeks, we also backpacked the pembrokeshire footpath.. Its absolutly fantastic to spend quality time in life with my wife Lovin it mate ....Thailand next ...yeeeaahhhh. 😊 No job... No bills. No mortgage. No children. No car.. No belongings ..( all sold or given to charity ) Just happy freedom....to do what we want....its brilliant. Disclaimer....this life may sound easy ..but it is definetly hard won .i spent 15 years so ill with ME and severe mental health problems...bed ridden and suicidal. We lost everything...nearly even our marriage. Me wife is an Angel ..stuck it out...never waiverd We lived in some very poor conditions..broke . So when the local council decided we should not be living in a static caravan...they pushed us out . So...🖕 the system..do what you want ...what makes you happy.... Do not wait for retirement or life to giv it to you....you got to get out and grab it....no matter what....you gotta be tough...no matter the fear or tears.... Get out now and grab life... We are very happy out here doing this....our way.

You seem like the kind of bloke that is probably conscious of your own progress maybe your wondering if you are doing enough? Obviously only you can answer that as a clearly motivated guy. Keep going. The hard hikes are there to hike when you're young. Later you will have back issues or knee issues or both. So does everyone else. The difference is, you had your adventures... And you still can hike in this day and age with light gear, even with health issues. You just can't take it for granted and need to adjust a little.
