A mid Bansuri is the most recomended key for female players to begin a bansuri journey. It has a very beautiful mid range, it is a good key for female singers which makes it even better for female Bansuri players to sing while practicing ragas, or to learn from a female singer. A mid Bansuri contains the western scale of E major, that makes it a very usefull flute for fusion music.
