A Midrange that flies like a fairway???

In this review i tried out the Kaxe z from Kastaplast! This midrange did not disappoint! It’s flight numbers are 6/5/0/2. This disc is a very straight and shapeable midrange with a ton of glide! I suggest new players looking for a good straight to stable mid try this out or experienced players can get great distance and some good straight and turnover shots with this disc!

I love my K1 soft Kaxe Z. I bag both a K1 Kaxe and K1 Soft Kaxe Z but definitely find myself using the Z more often. I do have a K3 Kaxe that I like also, its less domey than my K1 Kaxe and Kaxe Z so if that holds true for the K3 Kaxe Z it might be worth you checking one out (K3 is pretty nice for a 'base' plastic)

The kaxe and kaxe z are both solid but if I was to bag one it would be kaxe z for that hyzerflip! I love that flight! And it smashes

Powered down, the kaxe z feels like a regular mid but with insane glide, think a “long Roc”. This is especially true with a 60-70% spike hyzer. It gets that “pushing/gliding hyzer” thing that a powered up mid gets. Off a tee, it gives my speed 8/9 fairways a run for their money, especially on a shorter hole. For longer holes, I’m reaching for the Lots because it’s more accurate 300+ ;)

I have a theory about the Kaxe z being the farthest throwing midrange: it probably should be called a fairway.

It’s definitely taken the mantle of the farthest I’ve ever thrown a mid by about 10’. Prior was the piwakawaka lol. But I can’t get over the fact the Michael scarn watches my KZbin videos! 😂

Lol not to Kastaplast it’s not. They classify it as a mid when other companies may classify it as a slow fairway. That’s why I don’t like flight numbers haha or even know what flight numbers of most the discs I bag are. I go by how they fly and the distance they fly to determine a slot, not what the disc says 😂
