He said something in the previous lecture to lead the listener to the right path - something to the effect that in a Rom-Com the lovers have to learn to bend, to surrender a part of themselves to the commitment to the other.

What year written?

Not really known but apparently around 1594 - 1596. Shakespeare written it around the time he was writing Romeo & Juliet
