A Mighty review of Heliborne Collection

So Heliborne Enhanced Edition arrived a few months ago and was not well received. I am weighing in on both the original version of Heliborne and the Enhanced Edition of Heliborne because both are part of the Heliborne Collection. I've done a review in the past for Heliborne but think of this as a much needed updated review. Anyway, thanks for watching.

At first i was so excited when i saw this game, but it seems to me that the first person isnt a "Cockpit View" and cockpit view is the number one thing im looking for in a heli sim. Stuck with grand theft auto

I love legit cockpit view on games but this is not a Heli sim lol this is arcade and do go ahead and try this game, is very fun

I preffer the Original version. According to one of the developers, there are supposedly no plans to add new helicopters, or to improve anything else in the game. That's what he made me clear when I made a comment about "why they weren't incorporating the Eurocopter Tiger into the game". The game will remain as is today. The EE version, it seems to me a simple "saturation of brightness";The only thing that I appreciate is the new weapon sounds. Cheers Crack!

Bjorn, i believe i can explains the question of "how do you screw something up when it wasn't screwed to begin with?"... well the answer is ugly... it's called - fake an improvement to make money... and sadly many devs are trying to exploit it

Ever since I got the Ps-47, I've had it in all of my american trees when possible, because its really fuckin fun to go AC-130 mode on talibeans

@@MightyBjorn :D Also I found a fun tactic to use with it in multiplayer thats basically just a fuck you to the enemy in PVE on the afgan map: Literally just fill it with AT soldiers and deploy them towards where enemy armored assaults are coming from

I was confused because this is a collection and when you said, "the original." I was about to forget about this edition. But I finally figured out you meant the original and HD versions are a part of this collection. I'll be playing the original PvE with a friend.

I have xbsx. Its 720p. Popup texture in 2m range, no texture on mountains. 60fps ok good!!! But why a 2017 pc game, on serie x enven not 1080p with polish texture.

I personally liked the old devs better but we never got everything in game that was promised. Such as enemy bot heli's in missions.

Would you recommend the OG version above the EE version? Can both versions work together as well?

I feel OG is better but I think on people on PC gets the OG version

@@MightyBjorn Thanks for replying, and really qiuck! I have been keeping an eye on heliborne on steam, and its currently on sale. Do you know if the steam version offers both OG and EE? I saw in one of your videos something about being able to swap between the two ingame.

it kind of does have first person and no idea about hotas support. Best thing to do is join the discord for Heliborne and ask.

What is the single-player like thanks? If you buy the enhanced edition on steam how do you play the older version?

I've never really played the single player missions. I know there is a few missions, and the they have various objectives with a time limit but I never played through them, and I spent most of my doing flying in multiplayer coop.

Also, Heliborne has a launcher and you select which version you want to play. Well, at least for PC anyway.

Lack of a first person cockpit view meant I passed on this game. However cant deny it looks great. Thanks for the video!

idk tbh because I only have it on PC. If I recall correctly Xbox on has the Enhanced Edition. So I would say no but it might be helpful to find a review of the Xbox version. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
