Music sensation Shulem Lemmer and Camp Simcha Special camper Dovid Hill perform “A Million Dreams” at Chai Lifeline's 2018 Annual Gala on November 19 in the Grand Hyatt in New York City. The gala’s theme was “Dream. Hope. Inspire.” and the event helped raise funds and awareness for Chai Lifeline’s critical programs and services. Chai Lifeline is an international children’s health support network, providing emotional, social, and financial support to children with life-threatening or lifelong illnesses and their families.

Our largest program is Camp Simcha/Camp Simcha Special. Every summer, 480 campers enjoy a needed respite from illness in an environment filled with friendship, love, and encouragement. They rediscover their childhood, and when they leave camp they realize that they do not have be defined by illness or disabilities.

@@mina4298 most of the kids of chai lifeline have terminal illnesses or serious life limitations. We also have a camp called camp simcha/Simcha special where these kids go for a wk I think to give them a chance to be kids again and a much needed respite for the parents as well as a wish at the wall program in Israel. All paid by chai lifeline who gets no financial aid
