I have that same model Zotac Nvidia GTX 1650 Super in one of my rigs, except with a generic LGA1155, i7-3770 (4c/8t), 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 RAM, a 1TB NVME with Win 10, and a 512GB NVME with Linux Mint 21.

A modular SFX PSU was that all you needed. ATX size psu with all that extra spagetti cables constricts the case. Otherwise that case is pretty spacious.

I have the same case for my current build and I needed some help from my 26-year-old daughter with her small hands to do the cable management because I struggled with my sausage fingers 😅

Do you think I could get away with the low profile Noctua fan CPU cooler, an ATX facing down, and a 140mm front fan. It will be an apu only. No gpu
@MrMuBot
@MrMuBot 2 жыл бұрын
Just cross check its height once.
@TheBigBlueMarble
@TheBigBlueMarble 2 жыл бұрын
The specs for this case claim the max height for a CPU cooler is 61mm. Since the PSU goes directly above the CPU I am wondering if that is based on using an ATX PSU. If that is true, then using an SFX PSU should gain you an additional 22.5mm of space for the cooler. Does anyone know if that is true?
@MrMuBot
@MrMuBot 2 жыл бұрын
Ah this is a really interesting question. If I still had the system I would've surely checked this.

Thanks man, what i really face the same problem about this setup. How about using low profile cooler? Is it make a huge different temps as aio cooler did?
@MrMuBot
@MrMuBot 3 жыл бұрын
Couldn't test with a low profile air cooler as didn't have one at that time. If you don't have a SFX psu and a good intake fan then I'd suggest you go with AIO only.

@@MrMuBot i never use aio before.. is it complicated to maintenance aio?
@MrMuBot
@MrMuBot 3 жыл бұрын
Well, just regular check ups are necessary. Most of the aios won't bother you for the long term.

The AIO fan ... take air from the outside, that air is heated by the radiator ... THEN it goes in the box. It's counter productive
@MrMuBot
@MrMuBot 2 жыл бұрын
That's why it's called liquid cooling and not air cooling for the CPU.

You need a fan on the front.

Also, you need to go 100% m.2, then you can use a stock cooler.

The should face upwards. Unless youre stupid enough to let the psu intake hot air.
