She indicates it and shows it- She leads you to her engagement ring (which has an inscribed warning basically saying "it's okay if you don't accept because you would be leaving everything else you love behind"), gives you the wedding MLG sword and then takes you and you alone with her to the depths of space. But the only time she uses the word "love" it's to tell you to "tell Blaidd and Iji I love them" (which given the context sounds like a mother telling her spouse to tell the kids she loves them before she has to depart without saying goodbye). Either way I think being embarrassed to be seen in the form of the miniature doll is an explanation you kind of have to stretch for. Nothing except the fact that she lashes out at you (without indicating any reason why, or at least one that makes sense) would suggest that, and it equally suggests any other explanation you can come up with (like the Tarnished unzipping his pants or looking up her skirt or pulling the lid off a jar to stick her in, like in all the memes about it). Anyway she technically fits not the tsundere archetype people keep assigning to her (unless you count this one (1) single instance where she gets mad with no explanation halfway through her story, not at the beginning; a tsundere is a character who is disgusted by another character, but gradually comes around, usually pretending to still be disgusted with them out of embarrassment but eventually admitting their true feelings) but is instead a kuudere (someone who hides their emotions under a calm exterior and refuses to say how they truly feel, instead adopting a cold and avoidant personality; This is likely a play on words given her strong association with ice magic and the fact that kuudere is derived from the English word "cool" meaning both calm and cold; Examples of this in Ranni's dialogue are acting impassive and trying not to show any reaction when you say you came to see her for no reason in particular, warning you that you might get hurt if you walk her path with her (and calling it a path of solitude because she assumed she would have to walk it alone, even though you would be together) and never telling you that she loves you even though by the end you're the only person to whom she actually shows direct affection). All that said, for what it's worth I saw the cutscene where you put the ring on her again in someone's LP and realised she starts that dialogue with "so it was thee," which assuming it isn't another translation error might imply the miniature Ranni is mostly deaf and blind, which combined with the fact that she only mentions Blaidd and Iji might imply she mistook your for Seluvis, who is, after all, as Sir Gideon puts it, a "doll botherer." In fact I assumed the reason she had anything to do with him in the first place was that he provided the doll body she inhabits, but given the kind of guy he is and what he does you have to wonder why he had that doll to begin with.
