Well done, great driving. Was neat to see you drive the Mk7 for the first time. I assume the car is electronic throttle, etc. I noticed you were rev matching... what is your take on that? Higher end sports cars with manuals will actually rev match for you, older mechanical cars will be easier to blip the throttle. Or am I off with that?

Thank you man. Glad you enjoyed it. So yes it does have an electronic throttle body etc... And yes I was rev matching as I always have from young. Its amazing that the newer higher end cars do it for you but I feel that it has taken away from the raw manual boy racer feel. There is nothing better than a little blip on throttle before shifting to match revs. 👍🏻 Thanks for the support

@@swiftysportsa I have been driving stick for 30 years but I'm just now learning things like rev matching. But it's a little tricky for me with the electronic throttle. I have a couple of older cars to play around with that I don't think use electronic throttle. Will be interesting to see what's easier for me. Might be a couple of years before I try learn heel and toe, though the Fiesta ST is apparently well spaced for it.

@@patrickandrews7631 I definitely think it will be easier to learn with a mechanical throttle body at first as electronic throttle bodies tend to try anticipate your next move, which may be why you are having trouble match revving. Once you figure it out on a mechanical throttle body, it will transfer onto the electronic throttle body, but you will have to adjust your blip and timing ever so slightly. Every car is different. Heel toe is a very fun technique and can be difficult if pedals aren't spaced correctly but always achievable, just needs practise and muscle memory.
